In his five short weeks of life, Orbit hasn’t met many other owls. So he isn’t at all worried that his new best friend doesn’t hoot back. The orphaned chick is perfectly content in the company of the stuffed bird perched next to him and is never far from his side. Orbit, a common barn owl, was given the toy by Lyndsey Wood, his carer at Folly Farm, near Narberth in West Wales. She said: ‘A friend suggested that I find something like a toy owl to stop Orbit feeling lonely. I thought he might try to eat it, but he just cuddles up to it and goes to sleep.’

I LOVE HUGS. Not one of those “It’s nice to see you again, I‘ve really missed you” type of hugs or those “Goodbye for now” type of hugs, but an actual hug. The ones where each person has two arms wrapped around the other person’s body, holding on tight enough so no one feels the need to let go….
Life is like the title of my blog. What you get depends on how you look at it. There are two ways you can look at "BurninZel." You can think of it as Burnin' Zel, and since I'm Zel I guess that means I'm on FIYA! Or if you're a writing freak like me then you know that "in" doesn't get capitalized in titles, so you can look at it as Burn in Zel, a really crappy punny way to say Burn in Hell.
